Data Processing & Use by the ArtsCard Boston App
The following types of data are processed in the ArtsCard Boston App:
Data disclosed by the customer:

Contents of messages or reviews by the customer

Purposes of data processing:

Contract fulfillment or preparation

Keeping information about (cultural) events available for retrieval

Provision of services to recommend events based on the user's interests (with opt-out option at any time)

Availability of online stores of the event organizers for the purchase of tickets

Provision of communication channels for the dissemination of content and maintenance of the customer relationship

Fulfillment of contractual obligations from the service contract with the responsible party

Fulfillment of contractual obligations arising from the purchase and event contract concluded with the organizer.

Deleting your ArtsCard Boston account
How to delete your ArtsCard Boston app account
To delete your account you have to go to the bottom bar and select the menu item "My menu". If you scroll down in this menu, click on “Settings” then choose “Privacy.” You will find the item “Delete account”. You can also contact customer service using the "Email ArtsCard Boston" button below.

What happens when you delete my account in the app
When a user requests to delete their account within the app, the account in the app will be immediately deactivated and any personally identifiable information associated with it will be anonymized or deleted.
If a user has made purchases through our app, certain data must be retained for tax purposes. In compliance with legal requirements, we store transaction records and accompanying data for a period of seven years. This duration ensures that we maintain accurate documentation of the transaction, providing necessary records for tax compliance.
